Shop till You Drop....then Crawl!!!

Shopping With Shanda first started on the radio with Kidd Kraddick in the Morning in 1994 on April Fools Day. It was supposed to be a big joke... a segment with a "fanatically crazy shopper lady"! Well, the response was so incredible that I continued to do my shopping segment every Friday morning! That evolved into many things -- namely a book called "Shop Til Ya Drop...Then Crawl", regular TV segments on Good Morning Texas, and speaking to companies all over the metroplex. For several years I was able to do all of this with ease ( I have the greatest husband in the world!), even with having my first child in 1996. Then a couple of years later along comes my second child, and as many of you know, it got pretty tough! Around that same time KISS-FM went into syndication and my local show was no longer applicable to the radio audience in other areas. Luckily I was scooped up by the WOLF and I hung out with them for a couple of years before going over to MIX 102.9. I enjoyed very much having the opportunity to work with such talented people over the 14 years that I was on radio and TV. Now I am basically "freelancing" until something else catches my eye! I continue to do TV and speak to companies all over the metroplex... and I enjoy every minute of it! :)
